We are cock-a-hoop to have Erol Alkan playing back at Bugged Out at Sankeys this month. His first appearance in Manchester was for us back in 2002 and he hasn’t played the venue since 2005. A lot has happened since then with Erol remixing Hot Chip, Scissor Sisters, Klaxons etc and he’s just finished producing albums for the Mystery Jets, Long Blondes and Late of the Pier. He hasn’t neglected his djing though, he’s as skilled as ever behind the decks and tops bills worldwide.

Joining Erol are regulars at London’s Bugged Out and Erol’s Durr club Skull Juice. This duo are ones to watch in 2008 with their techno/disco/dubstep mix-up.

Also on the bill is Brodinski, the 20 year old Parisian who has already had underground success with one of the records of last year: Bad Runner. He also has a host of remixes under his belt from Klaxons, Shoes, Bonde do Role to D.I.M.

Kitsune’s Punks Jump Up and Naïve Melody complete another stellar bill for Bugged Out in it’s original home.
